About the event

Health coaches are champions of self care because they know how important it is to achieve vibrant health and wellness and how neglected it can be in our modern, busy world.  Many of us struggle with putting ourselves first, especially when we have others who depend on us. However, running around in a constant state of ‘fixer’ and ‘carer’ mode can be exhausting and have a negative impact on our wellbeing.  No doubt you’ve heard the saying “you can’t pour from an empty cup”?  As a society, we tend to celebrate those who ‘soldier on’ or push through challenging times. Burnout happens slowly. It’s a sliding scale which gets worse the more we continue to neglect ourselves. It’s also a tricky paradox -  the busier you are, the more important it is to take time out for yourself BUT you probably don’t feel as though you can. Of course that’s EXACTLY when you need to ‘make’ the time!  Self-care is the conscious effort of making time for activities or spending time with people who make you feel good. It doesn’t need to be time-consuming, but does require regular and ongoing attention.  Sometimes looking after yourself is the best gift you can give others.  Join us for this insightful webinar about how Health Coaches prioritise self care for themselves and their clients.
