It’s one thing choosing the right training that leads to confidently being able to practice as a highly skilled Health Coach - but it’s also vital that the Health Coaching course you choose is recognised and approved by the leading and most respected coaching associations, at a professional level.
The Health Coaches Academy has undergone the rigorous process to become accredited / approved at the highest level by the following Professional Associations. At the end of your training you can choose to join one, or more, of these Coaching Associations as a professional member.
PCI
UK HEALTH COACHES ASSOCIATION
APPROVED TRAINING PROVIDER
The UKHCA is the professional body for Health and Wellness Coaches for the UK and Ireland. Members of the UKHCA are fully qualified and credentialed professionals who have satisfied their robust professional standards. The Health Coaches Academy is the first UK college to go through their new, more stringent assessment criteria upgraded in 2021 giving you confidence that the training is delivered to the highest standards
PERSONALISED CARE INSTITUTE
ACCREDITED HEALTH COACHING DIPLOMA
In September 2020, NHS England launched Personal Care Institute (PCI) to help staff involved in people’s health and care develop the knowledge and skills to support the implementation of the NHS Long Term Plan and the Comprehensive Model for Personalised Care.
PCI is a virtual organisation, accountable for setting the standards for evidence-based training in personalised care in England.
The NHS Long Term Plan outlines the NHS’s aim to ensure that 2.5 million people are given personalised care by 2024. To bring this to life, the health and care workforce will be supported to gain the knowledge, skills and confidence to provide personalised care. The Institute has assessed HCA's Health Coaching diploma via the PCI’s rigorous quality assurance and accreditation framework, which means you can be assured our diploma meets the very highest standards of training.
ASSOCIATION FOR COACHING
ACCREDITED DIPLOMA IN COACHING
The Association for Coaching® (AC) is a leading independent, professional body dedicated to promoting best practice and raising the awareness and standards of coaching, worldwide. They are one of the most established and respected Coaching Associations to join whose purpose is to inspire and champion coaching excellence, to advance the coaching profession and make a sustainable difference to individuals, organisations and society in the UK and worldwide.
QUALIFI
The Health Coaches Academy’s Diploma Course will lead to a Level 5 Diploma in Health Coaching, the only Level 5 Health Coaching qualification available. As a UK awarding organisation regulated by the government body Ofqual, Qualifi endorses quality institutions, programmes and award certifications that demonstrate attainment, skills, knowledge and understanding.
Through Qualifi’s recognition, graduates of the Health Coaches Academy will earn a Level 5 Diploma in Health Coaching that will open pathways to employment and UK Degree courses and related post Graduate courses. The Diploma will be registered on the Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF) and recognised across the European Qualification Framework demonstrating a genuine qualification that is both transferable and credible.

APPROVED TRAINING PROVIDER
Comensa (Coaches and Mentors of South Africa) is the SAQA recognised professional body for Coaching and Mentoring in South Africa who regulate the coaching and mentoring professions in South Africa.
