And with today’s spiralling worldwide health statistics for both communicable and non-communicable diseases, health coaches are needed now, more than ever. Health coaching is growing fast in the UK, and worldwide.
IN 2009 THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION LISTED NON- COMMUNICABLE DISEASES AS ONE OF THE TOP 10 THREATS TO GLOBAL HEALTH
Non-communicable diseases (NCDs), also known as chronic diseases: include cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease and Alzheimer’s and are often referred to as ‘lifestyle’ diseases. These are diseases that are directly impacted by our lifestyles and are in many cases preventable.
