Zena Le Roux – Functional Nutritionist & Health Coach
Zena le Roux is a health journalist who completed her Master’s and further specialized in Functional Nutrition. She also trained in polyvagal theory and writes for international publications, researching the latest findings in health and wellbeing. She has worked as a health coach since 2019 and mentors students for HCA.
Zena loves being active: playing tennis, trail running, mountain biking, going to the gym, and spending time outdoors, especially near the ocean, which she finds grounding. She is also a mother to a three-month-old boy and is amazed by how good nutrition during pregnancy and breastfeeding supports early development.
Zena cares deeply about the small changes we can make to improve health and quality of life. Many people accept issues like low energy or lack of focus as “normal,” but she knows life can feel very different when you have the right knowledge and support to put it into practice.
"If I'm just surviving, I can't really give back. But if I'm flourishing, I'll have extra energy and more attention to give to others, and I'll be able to be more attentive of what the people around me need."
